First, Brandenburger Tor.  As the Arc de Triomphe of the Kingdom of Prussia, was built and is modeled on the gate of the temple of Athens in 1788-91 Japan.

Next place is Neuschwanstein Castle. It is said that even became a model of Cinderella Castle Walt Disney.

Germany has such a many famos place so I want to go there someday. I studied German when I was freshmen so I can speak German little. I want to talk with Germamy.

New Country

I have speaking class at university. It's class has group presentation that we did last week. Our topic was new country. I tell you about this presentation. Look at this photograph.

Our new country was Mandinka that is the name of a country where lies in the west of Africa. This country is almost as Honshu, the main desert stretching around the country. The population of the country is about two hundred thousand people. 

In this country, most of the people speak English. Why do they speak English despite it's a past of Africa? Can you guess? The nation was once a colony of Britain from 1930 until1960.

Look at this national flag of the country. As you can see, there is a camel on the center of it. The brown represents deserts, the green stands for grass, and the blue symbolizes sky. 

Then please see the tow coins. It calls Mandy. As you can see there is a camel's 

face on the coin. There are only tow coins in that country. There is no paper money. A Mandy is equivalent to one hundred yen.

In this country, more than 90 percent people worship a camel as a god. From time out in mind, living in that area is really hard for people to survive because they need to bear a severe atmosphere, I mean, extended deserts and the blazing sun. So, the people took good care of camel. In such tough circumstances, the animal is so useful; they can carry people one place to another.

After the independence from Britain, the nation discovered that there are oil resources in deserts, and the found of oil enriched the country. Due to oil, the nation's standards of living have increased. And now, the government puts effort into tourist industry. Look at this picture; there are cottages by the beach. Mandinka faces a beautiful sea on the west, so they developed the beach side as a large-scale resort area. It has been successful up to now.

People living in the country have a great athletic ability nature, so there are a lot of famous athletes in the country. They are very successful in various kinds of sports, such as football, short-distance running race, and so on. Mandinka reached the top 8 last FIFA World Cup.

Their staple food is nan, and surprisingly they also eat camel!! Despite they worship camel while they eat camel. It seemingly contradictory. However there is a reason. They exactly worship camel; in addition, they believe that can acquire the camel's toughness and endurance by eating.

Look at the illustration on the center of the paper. There are tow people, and they are wearing their own traditional national costume. The material they are wearing is made of camel's skin. That clothing protects skin from intense sunlight.

Once a years a very big traditional festival hold in the country. In July, the capital becomes lively with many visitors from within the country and abroad. The festival is hold over 7 days. The biggest event in the festival is "Camel Race". People who have own camel bring the animal to the place to race. Then they participate the race, and ride their own camels. Someone who won first place in the competition, he/she gets 1 million Mandy, and also gets one hundreds camels.

There are tow famous and interesting fruits in the country. Both of them are almost the same size and shape. However, there is a big difference between them. This red outside fruit having yellow inside, and it tastes really sweet, on the country, this yellow outside fruit having red inside which tastes extremely sour. 

If exist its country, I want to go there someday but I cannot live there because I will be cannot eat camel.

Dinner♡

My friend and I studied together to examination but I cannot study well because I was very sleepy. We studied 4 hour then we went out to eat dinner. First we wanted to eat ramen but very crowded so went to caffe near TUTAYA. Look at this photograph. We had pasta and sweets that was very delicious. We had carbonara, meat sauce and tomato pasta. Movie Day

Yesterday, my friends and I went out and watched movie at movie seater. We gathered in the town then we had lunch at VITO where is  Italian restaurant. Yesterday was my first time that  I went there. I wanted to go there so I was so happy! We had panini that was very ferocious. when we had lunch, came a lot of foreigner so we was surprised. Then we tried to listen to English but we could not listen a lot. I thought that my English skill was low level. 

After had lunch we went to movie seater near Kuhonzi. We watched Maleficent. Directed by Robert Stromberg. Star is Angelina Jolie and Sharlto Copley etc... Tomb Raider was one of the most popular movie was played by Anjelina. I lik Anjelina.

Typhoon

Last week, I was really scared of typhoon. I saw news that heavy rain and wind. I bought some water and small light. I prepaid just in case for the disaster. But, no wind no rain on last Thursday. We are lucky. Typhoon went to north, Kumamoto did not get heavy damage this time. I show some articles about typhoon.   

CNN -- Denise Fettig-Loftesnes lives just 50 feet from the East China Sea on the Japanese island of Okinawa -- prime territory to witness the swirling winds of Typhoon Neoguri as they lashed the island Tuesday.

"The wind sounds like a freight train is coming towards you," the CNN iReporter said. "It is hard to sometimes hear people in the same room with you because the wind is so loud."

Her building -- she lives on the sixth floor -- is swaying with the wind, so she's not going outside to check for damage.

"I did notice that my car has moved ahead about one foot and a little to the side," she said.

The storm had lost strength early Tuesday, going from the equivalent of a Category 5 hurricane to a Category 3, said CNN International meteorologist Tom Sater.

But it still had knocked out power to at least 106,100 electric customers, according to Okinawa Electric Power Company. About 600,000 households were under evacuation advisories, but fewer than 1,000 had left, authorities said.

Officials attributed 10 injuries to the storm, only one of them serious.

Although the storm is expected to only sideswipe Okinawa, passing about 130 kilometers (80 miles) to the west, the island's main airport, schools and many businesses were closed.

Authorities at Kadena Air Base, the largest U.S. military installation in the Asia-Pacific region, told the thousands of service members and their families at the facility that all outside activity was forbidden Tuesday morning.

Okinawa, the site of multiple U.S. military facilities, regularly finds itself in the path of big typhoons. Buildings on the island are designed to withstand the powerful winds that come roaring in off the ocean.

Each summer and autumn, heavy storms roll in from the Western Pacific, often causing damage in East Asian countries such as the Philippines, China and Japan.

Fears for Kyushu

The storm weakened slightly overnight, with maximum sustained winds of 148 kph (92 mph) and gusts of up to 212 kph (132 mph), according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

And while the storm is expected to continue to weaken, authorities are concerned about the potential impact of rain when it reaches Kyushu, the southernmost of Japan's main islands, sometime Thursday morning (Wednesday night ET).

"This is not about wind, it's all about rainfall," Sater said, noting that parts of Kyushu have already experienced heavy rains in recent days. The rivers are swollen and the ground is saturated, he said.

Authorities have already relocated about 84,000 people from areas of Kyushu vulnerable to flooding.

I was gave this souvenir that is chinsukou Okinawa's. My friend went to Okinawa to trip.

By the way, do you know chinsukou? It is one of the traditional sweets that are made in Okinawa from the Ryukyu Kingdom era. Baked goods were the main raw material flour, sugar, lard. Presentation

Every Monday, I had speaking class at university Today I talked over new presentation with my class mates. We will do presentation about new country. We have to create new one so we enjoy creating.

Last month we did presentation about Love and Romance.

Question 1 is do you gave a boyfriend or girlfriend?

38% of girls and 41% of boys said yes. The reason there are few couples know each other very well since it is still the first them of the year.

Next question is how long have you seen him or her?

We asked person who have boyfriend or girlfriend. 15% of girls and 0% boys said for the 1st day to 3 months. 18% of girls and 50% of boys said for 3 months to 6 months. 15% of girls and 13% boys said for 6 months to 1 year. 52% of girls and 17% of boys said more than 1 year. The reason there are a lot of couples that have been to together since they were in high school of freshman at university. There are few couple that just started dating. 

Next question is do you have someone that you like?

We asked person who don't have boyfriend or girlfriend. 45% of girls and 41% boys said yes. The reason half of the girls have someone that they like. Most of the boy answered they don't have someone that they like. Is it the effect of 'Soushokukei' boy?

Question 2 is do you want to get married?

91% of girls and 100% of boys said yes!! Almost all of the girls and boys answered that they have a desire to get married. The reason maybe they yearn to a create happy family.

Question 3 is when do you want to get married?

28% of girls and 38% of boys said 20-25 years old. 58% of girls and 55% boys said 25-30 years old. 8% of girls and 7% of boys said more than 30 years old. Almost all of the men and women answered that they want to get married in their twenties. In addition, most of their answer to this question was late twenties. Many people want to get married after they have settled in their work.

Question 4 is how many children do you want to have?

17% of girls and 7% boys said one. 41% of girls and 66% boys said tow. 28% of girls and 24% of boys said three. 11% of girls said more than three. Both 8% girls and boys said don't want to have children.

Almost all boys and girls want to have two or three children. Some people answered that they want to have a lot of children. They want to have two or three children for economic reasons.

Question 5 is which person do you want to marry?

51% of girls and 14% of boys said that want to marry older. 11% of girls and 29% of boys said younger. 30% of girls and 62% of boys said same age. When want to get married with older person. Boys answered that they want to get married with person of the some age. The grilse’s reason is older people seem trustworthy and kind.

Question 6 is will you keep on your job after you get married?

We asked person who are girls only. 76% girls said yes.

Question 7 is do you want your wife to quit her job when you get married?

We asked person who are boys only. 21% boys said yes.

Many people answered that they want to continue working after they got married. Most boys answered that they want to continue working for their wife after she gets married.

Healthy Banana Cake Recipe

Healthy Banana Cake Recipe

Ingredients
75g (1/3 cup) softened butter
110g (1/2 cup) unrefined (golden) caster (superfine granulated) sugar
1 large beaten egg
225g (2 cups) plain wholemeal (all-purpose) flour
2 level tsp baking powder
grated rind of 1 orange and 1 lemon (optional)
4 ripe bananas
50g (1/2 cup) chopped walnuts
Method
・Grease and base-line a loaf tin measuring 8.5 by 19cm (1 lb capacity), or set 12 paper muffin cases 　　into a muffin tin. Heat the oven to 350F/180C/gas 4.

・Put butter, caster sugar and egg into a bowl. Sift in flour and baking powder. Using an electric mixer, whisk until thoroughly combined. Add the grated lemon and orange rind if using.

・Slice the bananas into another bowl, and mash to a pulp. Add to the flour mixture, along with the walnuts and whisk again thoroughly.

・Spoon the mixture into the tin or cases and bake until risen and browned, and springs back when pressed with a finger. A loaf takes about 50 minutes. Muffins take 15-20 mins.

・Leave cake to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning on to a wire tray.

The Baby Day

Sure enough, when Mrs. Ambrose told her class that Billy's mum was bringing her baby into the classroom for the afternoon. 

Mrs. Ambrose divided the class into three groups.
The third groups were painting pictures of Jasmine. Jasmine was delighted with her paintbrush. She whacked the table with it, and showered them all with paint. 

If anyone tried to take it off her, she smacked them with it.

Billy's class was doing a project on 'Young and Old' so Billy's class room teacher asked Billy's mom to bring her baby, Jasmine. When Jasmine came at crass room, students were delighted.
